About Us

Vision
To build an ecosystem where immune intelligence is restored, chronic inflammation is prevented, and communities achieve long-term health through scientific understanding and early intervention.
About CIAR
The Center for Inflammation and Autoimmune Research (CIAR) is dedicated to advancing scientific understanding, public awareness, and patient-centric support in the fields of inflammation and autoimmune diseases.
Founded by Dr. Parthiban Subramaniyan
(DST Awardee, Translational Immunology & Inflammation Biology Scientist, Honorary Doctorate)
Co-founded by Mrs.Vinodhini Parthiban (Biotech Researcher - Scientific Documentation).
CIAR was established with the vision of building an autoimmune-free society through early detection, immune-centric mechanistic analysis, and personalized intervention strategies.
Our work focuses on the early recognition of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, translational scientific research, patient counselling, and community education.
CIAR strives to bridge the gap between emerging immunological science and accessible patient care.
Mission
• To decode the molecular origin of inflammation using multi-axis immunology.
• To implement minimal pharmacological, science-guided immune modulation.
• To advance community immune literacy and early identification of chronic disorders.
• To build India’s strongest real-world translational immunology platform.
• To contribute to global inflammation research through scientific publications and collaborations.
Founder Profile
Translational Immunology Scientist • Founder, CIAR & Co-Founder NVP Foundation.

Dr. Parthiban Subramaniyan is a Translational Immunology and Inflammation Biology Scientist and the founder of the Centre for Inflammation & Autoimmune Research (CIAR) and Co-Founder for NVP Foundation, Tamil Nadu, India. His work integrates molecular immunology, multi-organ axis biology, and real-world clinical interpretation using a highly structured scientific framework.
He holds an M.Tech in Materials Science & Engineering from NIT Trichy and advanced international training in immunology from Imperial College London, completing certifications in:
• Innate Immune System
• Autoimmunity
• Allergy, Hypersensitivity & Transplant Immunology
With over a decade of research-driven experience in inflammation biology, he developed the Bio-Intelligence Circuit, a comprehensive mechanistic model connecting:
• Mitochondrial energetics
• Gut–immune interactions
• LPS–TLR4 signalling
• Nuclear receptor pathways (VDR, GR, ER, TR, PPAR)
• Vagal neuro-immune physiology
• Multi-organ axis regulation
Dr. Parthiban is a DST Awardee, recognized for biomedical innovation, and also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Health Administration, awarded for his contributions to inflammation awareness and community health initiatives.
His scientific mission focuses on transforming how chronic inflammation is understood, interpreted, and prevented through:
• Multi-axis immune pathway analysis
• Minimal pharmacological, mechanism-based immune modulation
• Biomarker-guided interpretation
• Scientific immune literacy
• Translational manuscripts and mechanistic documentation
• Community-based immunology education through the NVP Foundation
His core research interests include:
• Innate immune signalling & TLR4 biology
• Neuro-immune vagal pathways
• Gut–brain–immune axis
• Nuclear receptor & endocrine–immune crosstalk
• Mitochondria–immune interface
• Translational inflammation science
• Multi-organ axis restoration models
Dr. Parthiban is currently working on multiple scientific manuscripts, mechanistic whitepapers, and collaborative pathways with national and international research communities.
